his kryptonite.

"Look, I'd rather wait.
Maybe in the future."
-Chuck Bass.

Spoilers?
I loved the recent episode.

I just caught the latest episode of Gossip Girl and I loved it. But I totally love little J's new look. Abit messy here and there, but I loiike it muchs. Also, a new cast that caught my attention - Willa Holland (Kaitlin from The OC). She definitely spices things up a little bit more. The recent eps after ep 06 has been good come-backs. But ep 08 left me all emo-fied alright. Dan is getting too boring. And so is Vanessa. Cut me some slack. Pfft.

Willa Holland as Agnes.
Agnes.. Agnes.. Why Agnes?
=\

Loving the hats!

Nate and Jenny - Just smack them please. It's very wrong. I mean considering the age gap and I don't know right, it's just a tad bit weird all over. It surely seems like incest, kinda. In this ep, I agree that little J is hot ;) Minus the pink frills, and the other dress would be gorgeous. Nate definitely looks uber charming when he came to J's rescue ;)

"Because he is so all over you."
So wrong, right? Haha.

Chuck and Blair - 'Quit playing games with my heart.' But finally all is laid out on the table, hee. But it's so emo and Chuck is actually down right serious about it all. Impressive much. Love this couple but sadly, it ain't happening. He says maybe in the future huh? If that were so, I'd love to fast forward to the future, Chuck. Well, let's not forget some excruciating pleasure, B. At least now we all know that Chuck loves the neck, his kryptonite remember? Hah! Info overload, thankyouverymuch.

Dan and Serena - Guess they're not going on with it anymore. New guy in the 'hood. Aaron, anyone? Not me definitely. Surely is some random sloppy artist.

Drifting away from GG, I think I've found a part-time job for me! Salary sounds good and job seems good as well. Got a job offer to be a Child Therapist. Basically handling kiddos with Autism - will be teaching them language skills, how to play with toys and to communicate with others!

Definitely something that goes hand-in-hand with my course right now. Though it really depends on the families that want to hire me. I am still thinking about it as to when should I start but for now, I'd rather not. Perhaps some time soon? The job seems manageable as it is flexible and works around my schedules.

Sounds like a plan :)

tesla coil anyone?

Because today marks the arrival of something too good to be missed.
This is where the geek & the guy in me is unleashed;

Yea baby,
RED ALERT 3 IS HERE!

Yeah you heard me right, it's HERE!
Here, here and right here in Malaysia!
YAY!

My eyes have been locked on previews and trailers;
It's awesome. Plain awesome, dudes.
I can't wait to get my hands on a copy!
Ahhhh!
*goes crazy and jumps around*

The only downside -
To play with a low resolution, tak syok laaaa.
My PC isn't canggih-fied enough to handle RA3.
:(

Any sponsors?
Recruiting, now.

My fingers are itching already..

soundtrack love.

Working on that pink.

My whole body cramped for a bit. I was laughing btw.
The dude really wanted to stab me;
He pulled me away,
Took a position,
Stabbed me,
And left me..

I know I self-proclaimed a holiday but I realized today that I've got some assignments still pending! Yeah I'm working on 'em right now. Other than that, it's all tolerable, hee.

I just downloaded The OC's OST and am totally lovin' it. Now what do I say? The OC is none other than love alright. Though it's very emo-fying but I'm liking it muchos. Hmm.

I'm off for the night to work on some assignments. Goodnight all!

sunset captured.

Yesterday, we had an LG outing to Cineleisure to catch a movie - Tropic Thunder, which was pretty much a waste of RM10 btw. I actually had heaps of fun but it left me rather tired out. How can I forget? - At The Curve yesterday, there were people dressed up as various characters from some movies and they did a pretty good job at impersonating their characters! They got many girls and kiddos all frightened out too. I had the liberty to get some shots with them, hee.

The girls!

Yo, che-check out muh riffle alright.

V!
Remember, remember the 5th of November?

Just like last year, I attended DUMC's LOUD! Concert once again. It was definitely bigger and better than last year I suppose. I almost stood a chance to win a t-shirt but I didn't, boo! The whole ordeal of it left me embarrassed though. Trust me, it was embarrassing. At least I'm famous now, HAHA. Anyhow, Ian accompanied me there cause Jan isn't well so yeah, sick boy needs to rest at home :) Sara danced, so all the more a reason to go, ain't it?

Sarah & Sara.

How sinful that Zara had their warehouse sale some few factory lots away. Along with Zara, there was Massimo Dutti as well as Pull And Bear. There were not many to choose from cause it was the second last day but nah, don't regret not going for it. The pretty stuff were still quite pricey but yeah, it's just alright. I couldn't find anything for myself.

Oh, and a total sinful temptation that Ian and I fell into - The MPH warehouse sale, also some factory lots down the same road. Too bad we arrived too late cause they were closing at 7 while we reached at 7. Yes it made us scurry through even more efficiently. We managed to grab some books for ourselves! Alright, I lied. I managed to grab some (like, three?) books for myself while Ian grabbed only one book, hee.

I went a little over my head when I spotted Kathleen Tessaro, Cecelia Ahern and Jodi Picoult's books. Though I got a little edgy when I saw the book, 'Thanks For The Memories' at only RM20 when I bought it for RM38 early this month. Moving on, I bought all three books! Woohaa! Imma' happy girl, aight. Leave me alone. Well, three books for only RM50! Can you beat that? The sale is gonna be there till tomorrow so go grab 'em before it's gone. They've got truckloads of books in there alright! Ian and myself only managed to conquer a quarter of that place. Tomorrow's a date! Hopefully, hehe. ;)

Just as the post title suggests, Ian and I caught a beautiful sunset while walking back to the DUMC's Dream Centre. Too pretty that we just had to snap photos of it. We tried to snap shots of ourselves with the scenic view but we kinda failed, so bear with us.

So unlike Malaysia, huh?
I felt like I was in Ozzie for bit.

Capture the sunset!

Let me just share an acronym with all you readers;

SALE!
Suddenly All's Less Expensive!

Hahahahaha ;)
Now that surely gives birth to more insight to shopping huh?
Hohoho!

And hey peepos, it's Diwali tomorrow. Have fun celebrating it and bring all that ladu back for me. Ladu is loveee. *grin* Uh-huh, I've got a sweet tooth in here.

their mark.

Guess what?

An article all about Shirts 4 Real is published in the local New Straits Times newspaper (Business Section) today! Go check 'em out alright? I do find it uber cool, hehe. Show all that support and get a copy of your own at a news stand nearby! They are totally making a mark in the business world. It's up, up and up all the way for them!

Jan & Brian.

You could check it out online too! *click* Albeit easy to access, a physical copy is always better, hee! ;)

Today happens to be another birthday -

Blessed Twentieth, Claryn!

We've come a long way
from where we were; mere little kiddos.
You've grown so much and definitely
too engrossed in your assignments, hehe.
Don't be so tied up and let's go out!
Your crazy-ness exceeds anything.
Well, that certainly does not include your lameness.
Because if it did, I'd have no words to describe it anymore.
Haha, love you girl :)
Have a great hatchday!

my discovery.

I finally discovered what I've always wanted to do with Photoshop! Such an awesome creation indeed.

*Points up*
This, tadaaa! :)

I've been editting pictures ever since! It's so fun, seriously. Nyehehe. Yes as you can see, I am very free right now. Do imagine my relief after submitting 4 (Or was it 5?)  assignments in. It's just so fulfilling. Trust me on that, will ya? It's some self-proclaimed holidays until next week I think, or maybe the week after? Hah, we'll see how things go! ;)

p/s: Thanks Jojiiii! :D

a breather.

I am finally able to catch a breather. The agony of rushing for due dates and such is almost over. It will be, once I submit all in tomorrow morning! I am yet to print out all my assignments though. Skipping class tomorrow morning is nothing more than a must.

I got through two midterm papers this week and both were pretty alright I guess. Went to try out my dress for the ADP ball as well. It was a gorgeous sight - the dress of course. And I attended the Calvary Church 40th Anniversary Dinner last night at the Sunway Convention Centre. The food was better than what I expected though I left for home with a hungry stomach after. I must say, with everyone dressing up with almost formal clothes, everyone looked good! It is indeed a sight to behold of Calvary Youth, hehe.

I didn't get many shots last night though I do have a few :) And here they are;

We match! :)

Darren!
It's a first that he wasn't so vain about the pic. I was, hehehe.

With Chris.

The two who skipped MC100 with a valid reason ;)

Of polka dots and stripes
It's love.

edit//
I must add that the night ended well. Very well indeed, hee! And by the way, I've just printed all my assignments, yay! That simply means that I'm doneeeee. Wheeee! Oh I love the smell of weekends. Simply awesome, hehehe. Awesome possum indeed.

p/s: Azy you should have been there! Missed you heaps!

conceivably.

I know I'm supposed to be squeezing all that BioPsych into my head now but it ain't happening. And by the way, I'm on to this new looova -

Cashmere Mafia.

A huge thank you to my lecturer for showing a little teaser in class today. It sparked quite a bit of my interest in some short 15 minutes. Hmm, this might be love. Perhaps another addiction on my list?

a pseudo holiday.

Friday is the mark of my long awaited bit of freedom.
I can finally hand in all my assignments and,
be over and done with the midterms.

a rainbow.

Just met up with Ian over some Old Town food and kinda got some stuff done.  At least that kinda helped in lightening my work load. I'm full and ready to get back to work. On the way to dinner, we spotted a rainbow amidst the gloomy sky. Try spottin' it if you could!

I gleefully made myself a timeline that would last me till Dec '08 just so I'd be on the right track when it comes to assignment due dates, quizzes, tests and everything else that deals with time and work. Now everything seems so organized and kinda controlled. Let's just hope I won't be too laid back again. There's not enough of time for everything. Boo.

harry potter.

"Do come earlier for robing.."
Why do we need robes?
Now now, freshmen need robes?

Yesterday I attended a Luncheon for the Freshmen of the Bachelor of Psychology Program. The lunch was just to officially welcome us into the faculty. Initially I was very much hesitant to go but in the end, it wasn't bad at all.

Dr. Goh explained that the wearing of the robes were to maintain the old school freshmen tradition back in Cambridge and Oxford some many years ago. Pretty weird but it totally gave us the whole Harry Potter outlook. The tables were arranged in horizontal rows from the front to the back, and the freshmen were in black robes. Harry Potter much? However I must add that the over all deco of the hall was pretty nice and simple. Even the tables had bits and pieces of potpourri arranged so neatly.

I'm blessed with such nice friends around me :) And they are such good influences okay, hee!

interior designing.

I just came home from my uncle's house in Kiara and I just had one word in my mouth the whole time I was there - Awesome.

His condo unit was designed by an i.d. (Interior Designer) friend of his and trust me, it was almost just like what and how I sorta want my future home to look like. Every corner just so clearly resembled me and my likes. At the age of 12, I already designed my future home. Well of course that was then and definitely not what I want my home to be or look like now.

However currently and in the now, I have kinda figured out how I seriously want my home to be like soon. It's gonna be awesome. I am yet to draft it all out on paper. Trust me, I have considered buying the i.d. software a gazillion times. But I figured I would spend almost everyday working on it, hee. Just like how people can get addicted to Photoshop (I did, a few times). When I was young, I actually loved following my dad around looking at housing projects where you could look at model homes and visit a real showroom just like the model homes.

The uncle's house.

I love interior designing. It gives birth to new concepts, ideas, creativity and really, each design has its very own uniqueness and identity. Every object placed contributes to a different sort of 'feel' towards that particular space. Identities and personalities play a huge role in that too. I guess this is why I am very particular about object placings in anywhere and everywhere at all. Yeah, I can get a little too fussy at times. Amidst all these, I still believe that simplicity is at its best. When a space gets too clogged up, it gets messy and so stuffy. Simple designs are always the best, to me. Then again, simplicity can be redefined in many ways. Well I'll leave that up to you!

Well here are some random interior shots I found that caught my eyes;

Lovelove.

So, why did I take up Psychology? Simply because my parents didn't approve of i.d. and realized it was pretty too expensive a course to take. Sigh. Hence Psychology. Well it was the best option I had so why not. After all, I could always pursue i.d. later on after my degree. Doubt my love for i.d. will ever fade. Pretty sure about that anyhow!

Cheers to awesome designs and ideas!
