I partially am a Punjabi :) Add a 'Kaur' to my name, ya'll.
Unlike many people, I grew exceptionally close to my baby-sitter ever since young. I mean whaddya' expect? I was with them since I was about a year old until I was seven. All my infant years and part of my childhood years were with them. My baby-sitter is like my second mom. Her family is my family. I grew to love them more and more each day. Right up till today, my love for them still stands strong. Through time, our thick and thin, we still end up together, just like a family.
She's my lovely baby-sitter!
Love her to bits! ♥
I do make an effort to see them whenever I am able to. But seeing them often ends up about once or twice each year. Rather heart-breaking but I thank God that I was able to make it more frequent this time around. Taking a glance at the past, it's almost 18 years since I first met them and somehow, nothing ever separates us right up till today. When I'm with them, I feel like a little girl all over again. I feel so loved and appreciated. It's like I'm one of the best things that has ever happened to them. 'Cos they definitely are one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Ever.
"Let's take with the flower!"
Hee :)
Almost the (my) whole family :)
Speaking of which, I just came back from a Deepavali dinner with them! It was good, it was really good. It was just so good to see all of them, just like the good ol' days. The tight bear hugs and kisses, we're sucha family. Though I didn't manage to meet up with all of them, it was still good enough. Jan & his sis got a little bored but I'm still thankful they accompanied me :) Thus ended a good night.
I definitely am more than thankful to God for making me a part of such an awesome family :) Well, I'm off for the night, so goodnight everyone!
