I was looking through some pictures and guess what I found? The bunch of friends who helped me search for my highschool prom dress ;) Couldn't help but to post about half of the folder, haha!

Such good times :) And I just realized, I had the collar thing going on at that time too *blush*

2009: a year of faith.

And coincidentally I fell sick on New Years Day. What a way to celebrate the New Year huh? 

This year, I made absolutely no resolutions. I wasn't happy that 2009 arrived too early because I was dreading the fact that I'll prolly have to face many more things that don't seem too easy to go through.

Right after Watchnight Service, Jan and I headed back home after a long day out. Upon arrival at my home, we sat in the car and he started to knock more sense into this stubborn head of mine. I was being bitter about 2009 and was on the verge of giving up all over again. It's funny how I always thought that it was only me, myself and I who was going through this mess with that bit of support from the people around me. But I came to my senses and realized that they're going through it with me, or at least he is. :)

I guess that I could mainly thank God for the friends and amazing people whom He has placed around and in my life for the whole of 2008. All in all, I guess it was quite a good year considering everything that has happened and how things beautifully unfolded before my eyes towards the end of 2008. 

Jan has been an absolutely sweet and amazing backbone of mine throughout everything, from the start right up till today; Azalea, Mohan and Lydia have constantly had my back even when they were miles away from home with all that oveaseas calls, text messages and lovely emails to keep me from falling; Sara, Alexa and Rachel who always fed me with laughter and total randomness just to make sure there's always a smile on my face; and trust me, there are many more to list down but yeah :) Just to list a few more without elaborating - Tabster, Ian, Josh Teng, Arthur, Yih Khai, hmm they're all lovely people! They have been such sweet peas throughout this year in some way or another. What would I ever do without you peeps? Soigh. :)

In a nutshell, I'm greeting this new year, 2009, with a whole bunch of faith ready to back me up! God has been downright amazing in so many ways that I can't even keep track of. He has never let me go but instead, has always welcomed me back into His open arms of everlasting love. I would've never made it till today without God, my family and the rest of the aforementioned people.

Thank You Jesus for 2008.

last hurdle.

Finally after going through some weeks of agonizing exam stress, I'll be over and done with it tomorrow at 2pm and right on to youth camp! :)

The fact that we haven't had camp for two years makes all the difference there is. In the past two years and even more, things have changed so much. I changed. I practically took a 180 degree turn. Two years ago and today, I wasn't the same. I was different. My purpose of going to camp was different. My focus was different. My life was different. Life's circumstances were so different. This year's camp is gonna be different. I just know it. And let's make that difference in our life, through this camp and what's installed for us. Make this camp a significant one. Don't let it just waste away.

Honestly I'm scared but I guess I'm ready. It's a mish-mash feeling inside of me - trembling, tears, joy?

On a lighter note, I'm glad I'm gonna be in camp with my favorite girls! All finally back from overseas, it's sucha good feeling to have all of them, babes, back with me. Truly feels like real home now :) What would I do without them anyway? Hee ;)

Today marks the release of Britney's new album - Circus. Hehe! Well to be frank, I've loved Britney ever since I was 11 or 12? Hee, she was that awesome and somehow she got a little too screwed up for my liking in the later years - the shaving of her head and stuff. But now she's sorting out all the pieces and has released her new album today - her 27th birthday! :) Honestly, I am happy for her and her improvements. Let's just say, Imma' fan of Britney. Hee ;) I might just get my hands on her new album, haha! Well that is if they're gonna be featuring her ol' school hits, hehe.

Spending the whole day home on a holiday isn't exactly what I'd normally do. It gets so depressing when you take an attempt at your assignments and end up concluding that you're totally clueless about it.

I sat here staring at Microsoft Word for more than two hours now, and only to have two sentences staring right back at me. I'm depressed. I was scheduled to complete all three assignments plus a revision for BioPsych and guess what? I only completed one assignment of which I don't even have any idea about what I typed. It is purely depressing. Thank God for a hopeful fun dinner that I can escape to tonight.

Speaking of a much needed brain juice, I was brought back to a distant memory of the word - jouuze! Now this is what makes me smile :) Jouuze! Hehe. Only a certain six other girls would understand me, lalala.

It was my niece's birthday and she just turned five! :) I got my first piercing at five! Haha, random. Anyway, her presents and cake totally reminded my of my childhood days - of Barbies and everything pink. However, I had a guyish childhood too, somewhere along the way la. :) BUT I still had a girly childhood okay! *proud face* Haaha, so don't be quick to judge, pfft.

I love jigsaw puzzles too! :) The thrill of accomplishment and going through it all is just amazing. I remember in KLCC, there was this glow-in-the-dark puzzle shop where I'd always frequent.

I remember how I was SO into Barbie dolls and the other dolls until one fine day when I just got rid and grew out of them. All of them, to be exact. Hello, I used to have a life-size baby doll and act as though it was my baby! (Told you I've loved kids/babies/toddlers since forever.) Haha.

It happened when a friend told me how these dolls in your cupboard/bed-side/box (just where you'd keep your dolls) would just come alive at night when you're asleep. Like the minute you fall asleep, they wake up and start communicating with each other and exploring your house or something. You know how those toys from Toy Story/The Nutcraker come alive? Yea, some sort like it. *shudder* I seriously freaked out and vowed to never ever EVER play with them, dolls again. =\

Though I think that Barbie dolls are really pretty :) You wouldn't want to know what I do with my dolls ;) Haha. I give them make-up, hair-cuts, make-overs and everything else. Haha. ;) I even give them tattoos and piercings okay! Man was I a creative kid. Hahaha. Oh oh I used to bathe them as well, with bubble and sparkling baths! Haha :D My dolls were in very good shape except some which I used magic color as make-up. Hahaha :P Too fun, too fun. Ahahah. It's so hilarious thinkin' back at my childhood. Hee :)

reunion.

Just last night, the AIM team of 07' gathered for a reunion :) After much fickled plannings and changes, we finally made it! However not the whole group made it, but almost all. A majority, at least. We settled for Uncle R's instead of the usual porridge steamboat in Subang. Nevertheless, the food was yummy! Not to mention, it was my very first time there. Haha.

so i went for a sleepover at ian's place on friday night and it was fun. hehe. i enjoyed myself and the adventure we had was equally good. haha.

we had dinner and lepak-ed around till we decided to leave for Cyberjaya. why Cyberjaya you might ask. ahaks, cos yih khai is there! :D he was supposed to come for the sleepover as well but he bailed out cos of silly assignments that he needed to complete. haha. hence we wanted to visit him :) note that we didnt know how to get to/around Cyberjaya, MMU and his condo. haha, well we got help from a sweet sweet friend, jessica :) it was about 2a.m. that we called her and planned our little surprise visit. haha. she was awesome! anyhow, when we reached, and surprised yk, he was stunned. like seriously! haha. pretty funny though.

after that, we had mamak and headed to Putrajaya to take pretty pics with the bridge and stuff. after Putrajaya, we went to Hulu Langat for the waterfall which was quite an adventure! haha. the waterfall was pretty i tell you :) the mist covering the nearby mountains/hills was soooo thick okay! not to forget that it was freezing as well. hehe. and yea, after all that, we went back to ian's place to sleep which was at about 10a.m. haha. it was a lonng night/early morning. hehe :p
