the plaza.

All ecstatic after meeting the wedding planner.

I just caught Bride Wars in the cinema yesterday and I'm loving it. Well in short, it evolves around two best friends (Anne Hathaway & Kate Hudson) who after many years, start noticing their differences and finally in the end, realize that they can't live without each other because similarly they share almost everything together :) I really really enjoyed the movie and perhaps, I'm gonna catch it again! After all, it does involve weddings too, so count me in! *grin* Pretty much my cuppa ;)

A random question: If they have The Plaza, what do we, Malaysians have?

Anyhoo, I just got back from Baskins and I've got three quarts in my fridge yo, haha. Though I'm pretty upset that they didn't have Very Berry Strawberry. It's been two whole months without that flavor now! :(

Hear me out: Love Story by Taylor Swift.
p/s: This song is absolute love. :)

unscrewed.

So like any other HELP student, I finally got all my results back. I'm not screaming for joy and neither am I ranting simply because God has definitely blessed me with good enough results. I was already expecting to fail, that's why I didn't enrol as yet but yeah. I'm more than sure that I totally screwed up my last paper which so happen was on the first day of Youth Camp but I didn't fail! Huhaa!

I'm just more than thankful, hee! Uh-huh, I'm giving God all, absolutely all the glory for my results! :)

Here's to the second semester of my uni life. *sigh* A long way more to go. But yeah, this sem doesn't seem too stressful but definitely consumes heaps of energy and commitment. Haha, that doesn't sound too easy anymore, innit? This sem, yet again, I face a lecturer of whom, I'm not particularly fond of, heh. I hope things will be alright for me, haha, 'cos it didn't go too well in the previous sem :p

Anyhow, haha! Yayy for my results! And yes I have finally decided on my minor, hee. Yea, like finally. I'm gonna be minoring in Marketing :)

I can have a good night's rest now! *grin* Oh and another thing, I might be getting a new puppy soon! A whoite one :D Hee, so so cuteeeee! Gaahhh, hehehe. And yes, I have finally recovered from all the sick bug, haha. Normal voice is back in the vocal chords yo ;) Okay, goodnight!

sporadic.

Being me, as sporadic as can be;

favorite picture.
He says it's like Beauty and The Beast, haha.
But I think not :)

~

I finally caught two movies - Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and The Duchess, in a span of two days. Well of course, cinema at home :) Loved The Duchess much more as compared to Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. If you haven't already seen The Duchess, do watch it, 'cos it's good stuff aight.

Loved this outfit!
And many more dresses..

The movie brings us back to the 18th century. You know, all those pretty feather hats and dresses? Yea, I loved them both. But basically it's about the conquest for true love and how the Duke of Devonshire was being totally unfaithful and unreasonable to his new wife, The Duchess of Devonshire as played by Keira Knightley. Also not forgetting, the painful love triangle between the two and Lady Bess Foster, The Duchess' best friend and only source of comfort. As the movie drew to a close where The Duchess had to give her baby daughter away who resulted from her affair with Charles Grey. It was a heart-wrenching scene as separating a mother from her child is definitely any mom's worst nightmare. Am not really a fan of Keira Knightley but nonetheless, the movie was good. Honestly I really thank God that we're no longer living in those olden days where giving birth to a son is of utmost importance and having a baby daughter is shameful and the likes of it. Heh.

Am off to class soonish! :) And yay, my normal voice is coming back alreaaady!

a familar stranger.

............S: Don't be a stranger.
............D: I'm a star. You may not see me, but I'm always there.

Not the normal conversation and definitely not the answer sought for but it is as interesting as it gets. It's funny how time passes by so fast and the most familiar faces are close to invisible. The ties that once binded, are the ones that loosen up. When knitted together once again, it is as though stepping out into a new dimension, with familiarity being the ultimate tour guide.

circus.

Not really a fan of the cover though.

Today marks the release of Britney's new album - Circus. Hehe! Well to be frank, I've loved Britney ever since I was 11 or 12? Hee, she was that awesome and somehow she got a little too screwed up for my liking in the later years - the shaving of her head and stuff. But now she's sorting out all the pieces and has released her new album today - her 27th birthday! :) Honestly, I am happy for her and her improvements. Let's just say, Imma' fan of Britney. Hee ;) I might just get my hands on her new album, haha! Well that is if they're gonna be featuring her ol' school hits, hehe.

Some days ago I was looking through some old pictures and guess what I stumbled on? Some moments captured four years ago! This should instill some laughter and giggles, hee.

Let's back track to April 2004 and this is what you get -

Rings any bell, peeps?

Now?

Wahaha.

HAHAHAHA.
We should prolly retake one this year.
It'll be fun to see how much
we've all changed, hah!

Hear me out: I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman by Britney Spears.

p/s: I lovelove this song. Especially from the movie, Crossroads :) A very simple and cliche movie but easy on the soul, I like, hehe.

either one.

"Out of sight, out of mind" OR "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"

At lunch one day, this topic came up and I took my stand on absence makes the heart grow fonder instead of the other. Then again, it really really depends on the situation :) Well anyhow, from a complete personal outlook;

Out of sight, out of mind: It's more of ignoring the circumstances at the present moment and moving on with everything that's left. Completely getting rid (Unable to face the reality?) of the things at hand and wishing upon one's lucky star that it'll go away (vanish and go "poof"?) and things will get better in time. Or maybe it's more of "I can't be bothered anyway." I could go on and on but a simple phrase to sum it up - Ignorance is bliss. I guess in one point or another in our lives, we all face it whether we like it or not. Then again, ignorance can only bring us so far.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder: How about clinging on to the present, hoping for things to keep turning out for the better? I guess it's almost the perfect fit. While the other wants to get rid of the present, this wants to hold on to the present and not wanting to let go. A phrase to sum this up? - Perhaps it's being happy (contented?) with the now and not wanting it to fade away at all. Uh huh, that's prolly it.

This all is completely random thoughts just penned down but yeah, it just struck me. So what's your stand?

Out of sight, out of mind?
Absence makes the heart grow fonder?

It's actually pretty interesting if you'd ask me. Do let me know! :)

touch down.

Just shoot! Cause I know you so wanna shoot ;)
Got it off Sara's blog and thought it was rather entertaining.
Anyhow you can either choose to shoot her or me!
Release all that stress now, will ya? Haha.
Have fun shooting me!

And so you know, shooting me a hundred times won't make me go away. Hah! I quote Sara, "It's not thaaat easy getting rid of me." ;)

~

Hohoho by Friday, the Mohan is gonna touch down in Malaysia! Yay after some months of being empty, I am now erm, full? Hehe. But awesome la, can't wait! Lyds and Azy, your turn soon! Hee :D

And to complete it (us), Josh and Xiong will be back too! Coincidentally, the last two to turn twenty! ;) Soonish huh? Hehe. Reunion babes, reunion and sleepovers! Ahaks! :D

Ah how I love the end of the year and of course, my crazy-filled friends :) Without them, my Christmas holidays just aren't complete. Seriously! YAY.

Oh and go to Sandra's blog to experience the Chuck Bass. Haha alright fine fine, not experience but to watch the youtube vid on him and trust me, you'll fall even harder for him! The accent and the look, heheheh! 8)

Btw, I've been pigging out so much that it's not funny anymore. I've been eating either McFlurry Oreo or Baskins almost everyday! Can you beat that? *sigh* Omg la, seriously. It'll be an absolute shocker if I don't gain at least A kilogramme this week. And even better, my mom just bought me a whole quart of Baskins (for myself) - Chocoloate Chip Cookie Dough & Very Berry Strawberry! Wahaha it's so awesome that I can't resist it. See what I mean?

From today or tomorrow, Imma' fast on food and try or attempt to jog everyday. Now that 'tomorrow' is already procrastinating but hey, it's been raining almost every evening! Can't blame me, can you? Rawrr, fat fat fat. My worst nightmare might just come to pass. Noooo! *shudder*

Okay, byee!

caffein-ated.

I'm most probably the happiest girl right now because right next to me, stands my cup of Starbucks - just the way I like it! Hot coffee on a seemingly rainy day, simply perfect.

It's love.
So satisfying.

Apart from that, I received a little cute cupcake all the way from NYC alright. Thanks Rachel! Hehe, it's so funny how I asked the girls (Alexa & Sara) what it was and they were clueless as well. But Alexa said, "I dunno la. I touched it the other day and it's softer ady!"Hahaha. I was rather curious because if it was a real one (which I doubt else it would have been spoilt after the long journey back, hehe) I didn't want it to melt or something hence I opened it and it was..

First off, no offence, girls (No stereotypes!) but seriously, Serena is the perfect example of all the stupid girls ever - She's so into Aaron despite him being sucha jerk. Then again, sometimes girls are just girls and we can't help it, no? But hello, he likes/enjoys dating more than one girl at a time! Who wants to share a boyfriend? This is intolerable okay. At least he's a one woman man right now, hah! His wall is freakishly filled with photos of Serena and it's so eeky-fying. He's so sloppy and is a downright weirdo. He looks like a druggy and his face really makes me wanna puke my insides out. And time and time again, Serena keeps falling at his feet, pfft. I find their love story so disgusting. Spare me please.

Her outfit is so ugly okay.
The skirt is extremely short and it makes her look rather heavy on top.
She looks like some Christmas ornament o.O

Pfft.
He needs a total make-over.

Chuck, haha. I love Chuck. His acting skills surpasses anyone else in this series alright. He plays his role so well and I can't find anything to hate about him. The recent episode just makes me love him all the more, haha. Not to mention, he's got some fashion sense there. I loiike.

Lily and Rufus simply belong together. Just ditch it all and get together for goodness sake. Well, I'm all out for this couple! Love them, hee. Btw, Matthew Settle's (Rufus) real wife looks somewhat like Lily! Heh heh heh ;)

Daddy-to-be!
Settle and his wife, Naama Nativ.
Agree, no?

Dan and Vanessa just annoys me to death. They're both stuck in their whole pity-me-world. Urgh, annoyance. Dan is really ugly btw. Haha. But yeah, I'm sick of Dan and Vanessa. Vanessa is so stupid, omg. "Everyone's so mean to me, boohoo. Pity me. I want Nate." In short, they're really pathetic. Very.

Welcome to my pity party, yay!

Jenny is, well, I don't know. Now the whole drama isn't focused on her anymore. The recent ep where she's finally clean from the exaggerated eye make-up makes her look all sickly and ugly. Yeah I know I mentioned before about how I liked her 'new look' in that one ep but it got worst by the eps and now she looks so haggard. Yucks. I realized something about her posture, her head sticks out like a turtle's head and I dislike the way she walks. It is as though her head is being pulled by a string and the body follows after.

Lalala, Nate is hot. Haha, I actually like how he has been in the recent episodes. Nothing to complain about there I guess :) I'm bias? Haha, nah but at least he isn't much of an idiot unlike Dan. When his dad's nonsense was settled I couldn't stop telling myself, "Ah, finally. Enough of that family drama already." :) Though it was quite sad to see his dad taken away and my my, his mom cried a bucket full!

I'm liking Cyrus, HAHA. He's so cute! *giggles* He's short and stubby, heh. Except for the fact that his face kinda reminds me of Smeagol/Gollum. "Now, where's my hug? Not enough! One more.." Hahaha. However it's a little disturbing (okay, not a little but a lot!) to see how Eleanor reacts towards Cyrus especially in the pie scene. Ahaks! Poor Blair.

He's so short..

Oh have I mentioned that I love Blair's green dress? The one she wore during thanksgiving? Yeah I love it! :) Speaking of thanksgiving, I found it quite dumb how she met Jenny and started comparing their sob stories. And at times, Blair's such a kiddo, a spoilt one. Nevertheless, I'm still liking her green dress! :D Side-tracking a little, even if there's no obvious mentions about Chuck and Blair, I'm still rooting for the two! And another funny spot would be how Dorotha was dressed on thanksgiving - the real Santa Rina ;) A penguin-like Santa Rina? That should be it!

All eyes on her dress, please :D Hee!
Lovin' the back especially.

Sob story galore!

Bart Bass is such an investigator who's getting a little too scary. It's good Lily left him on thanksgiving for Rufus. See, they always end up together just like the last thanksgiving they had :)

I'd opt for a husband who cooks. Anytime! :D

That was rather long huh? I think that's enough for now. I am supposed to be studying instead of ranting all about GG, haha! Alright off to the books now. Goodnight all.

~

//edit: The 12th episode of Gossip Girl will only be aired on the 1st of December (2nd for us Malaysians). Great, no new ep of GG to look forward to next week. Pfft. However, ep 12 surely does look interesting! A teaser for you folks! ;)

Chair anyone?

Heyheyhey, Rufus & Lily!

p/s: I spoilt it for myself too but pictures can be deceiving hey. *sigh* December 2nd is a long wait alright!

cosa nostra.

It was the ADP Annual Ball last night at Impiana KLCC and personally, I didn't think it was all too awesome. However, being with the company was good - just like the good ol' days. Pretty nostalgic though. It kinda was our 'last dinner' together before everyone leaves in Feb, sigh. Anyway, everyone looked gorgeous and yes yes, pretty dresses were spotted! There's nothing to shout about the food but I kinda liked the interior bits though it could have been much much better. And by the way, I still can't get over the whole strip show by Neoh. Haha! Well, enough of me now and enjoy the snap shots! After all, pictures are what everyone looks forward too, huh? So here goes;

And you made all the difference!

And that concluded the night of the ADP Annual Ball! Btw, these friends in ADP totally made my life there an amazing roller-coaster ride. We had so much fun every time, hee ;) Without them, life in ADP would be downright boring. Boring, I say! Am more than thankful, and absolutely loving them muchs :)

Some random bits - I stepped into Starbucks and it was so Christmas-y! The cup and sleeves were all in red and totally in season. Pretty tumblers, bears and mugs totally caught my attention, hehe! Well I'm definitely looking forward to Christmas. Can't wait! Also, everyone would be back by then, hee! Oh the joy :)

Absolovely drink-alicious!
