simply sporadic.

I believe that the flower here has withered (some sort like it), hence opting for a new change in atmosphere. My story will of course, be continued, just not here. It's been real fun blogging and pouring my innermost thoughts here but it has come to an end. Don't be mistaken, 'cos this is a happy ending, really! :) And it'll be a delight to have all of you with me, through another phase of my personal journey;

It'll be ever so kind for all you lovelies to relink me :) Thanks a bunch and see you over at the new site!

Till then, much love!

all hyped.

Blessed Birthday, Rachel!

I was just looking back at the birthday card
you made for me last two years. Mann, I miss you heaps!
You've been the ever hyper Raycheerache,
always making me giggle my lungs out when
I see you and especially now, when I read your blog.
Your faith in Him has really encouraged me
on the quiet end and I'm so thankful for you.
Continue bringing that joy & hype of yours
where ever you go because you never fail to
put smiles on people's faces :) It's just your thing!
Love you mucchhs babe! Heee.
Go be that greaaat film director!

p/s: I got mixed up with the dates :( Haha, blame it on the exams!

an overload.

It happened..
It really did!
My reaction & response time, a little delayed.
I'm lacking heart beats right now.
HAHAHA. Really.

But, yayy! :)

Happy Valentine's, Everyone!
Gettin' on with all that exaggerated hype and romance,
the world's a busier place today.
But definitely filled with an overload of roses,
chocolates, candies and the likes of it.

:)

choinese new year.

A friend used to scream his head out saying, "Choineseeeee". Well, that was some 5 years back in highschool? Brrh I feel old, haha.

"Pikchaa, pikchaa!" My aunts are ace at screaming that word out while gambling, hah. As I mentioned in the earlier post about having heaps of pictures taken this new year, I'll be faithful to pick out shot(s) that I think are pretty enough to be posted here and the rest will, as usual, be up in Facebook for my cousins' benefit. This year, family ties seem a little more huddled up together and toight unlike the years before - I'm enjoyin' it, most definitely!

I've been sticking myself to the computer screen watching the new 90210 almost every day now, haha! Hmm, it seems to be trashing Gossip Girl a wee bit in my download sequence. Well maybe because I downloaded the wrong episode 16 this time around which totally dampened my spirit, pfft. Anyhoo, 90210 on the go!

Itsy bitsy thing about 90210 - the girls seem a little too anorexic for my liking and I sense a bit of The O.C. rip off going on somewhere along the episodes, hmm. But I'm definitely a fan of Silver's, I like the rough touch to her personality and plus, she's really pretty. Ethan's pretty attractive too (think geeky/nerdy Seth Cohen, yes?)! Honestly, come to think about it, I'm starting to not like the whole highschool scene anymore be it in The O.C., GG or even 90210.

Goodnight world, taa!

posaa in the house.

Somehow both my niece and nephew, Julieann & Jamie, seem to be rather hyper active than usual this new year. With my camera phone in hand, I couldn't help but to snap away at their adorable gestures and poses that were being thrown about. This year, things seem more lively than normal, which is of course, a very good thing! The UK cousin is finally back, bringing all that joker-self and hype home. Yes, he is the cousin who drew moustache on cats & dogs with a permanent marker pen some 10 years back and also the one who makes both cats and dogs dance and act out silly things, haha.

Out of the many pictures that were taken, I shall just share a little collage of my nephew :)

When Jamie meets the Bearista;

Ain't he the most adorable sweetie? :)
Note: He's such a posaaa!
He'll check the photo after taking one and see if it's nice, haha.
And will go back and pose again..

the first twenty.

Blessed Twentieth Hatchday, Love!

I know you're not gonna be fond of celebrating this birthday
since you're finally hitting the twenties
but hee, Happy Twentieth!
I hope you have a blast all the way in Seattle
even if I'm not there ;) I'm actually quite
bummed out that I can't celebrate it with you
but still, do enjoy it!
You're only gonna be twenty once.
You've been more than amazing
throughout our whole friendship, best friend.
Words really can't describe how thankful I am
for you in my life :) Just so you know,
You play an outstandingly important role
in this life of mine, really!
I love you and once again,
have a blessed birthday girl!

Handmade with love!

xoxo.

come and go.

Youth Camp 2008: This Is Now.

I went to camp expecting God to move and sure enough He did - more than I expected. I guess He really made clear about the direction I'm heading towards in 2009. Initially it wasn't and isn't what I intended it to be but at times like these, you just need to shut up and follow His footsteps obediently, ain't it? I never prayed as much as I did in camp before. I never seeked God like how I did in camp. It was just different. I was never this hungry for His touch. In this camp, I experienced it all. God was extremely real in my life. Throughout camp, He taught me one thing and that is to continue persevering even when things get ugly. I mean life hasn't been easy for me since the start of this year and I gotta admit, I'm getting goosebumps just by thinking about how next year is gonna go but I believe it's all gonna be alright with God on my side. Happy thoughts ahead!

It was a totally different experience this year for me in camp as well. I mean assuming various responsibilities and ensuring that camp goes along well isn't easy and very tiring. It was totally worrysome when the number of campers weren't touching 250 at all. This is just one of the aspects but yeah, I know that God worked wonders in this year's camp and I'm absolutely certain that all who went were tremendously blessed!

On a lighter note, experiencing camp with loved ones are total plus points. I mean having all my favorite girlfriends back from overseas has continuously lifted up my dampened spirit. They have been nothing short of gorgeous blessings. It was even better when the seven of us were somewhat 'reunited' after a long break on the second night of camp! Sweet love, huns.

Peanut butter-fied.

Heee!

:)

Lovelies!

Candid laughter.

Seven of us!

Girlfriends.

 My LG :)

Taraaaa!

We cool alright.

Whoooosh!

Doong is love!

We're at the beaaach!

And here we move on to family love! My Ozzie cousins have finally came back after two solid years of absence. Just in two years, they have both grown up so big (like literally big) and seriously, so matured! I mean they were mere little kiddos before this and now, woah! Hee, I was very shocked. I guess I'm no longer the taller cousin in my generation just because they're still young but yeah, haha. Darn, why didn't I get these tall genes? Pfft. Albeit awkward on the first day of their arrival (yesterday), we got on well this morning and hey, more days ahead to rekindle that cousin love.

Well we celebrated Christmas early this year because many of them couldn't make it on Christmas day itself so dinner was today. My aunt got us turkey! It's a first in our family to have turkey, seriously! Turkey and tong yuen (since the celebration was just 2 days ago)! Hehehe, yummy flour-y dessert by the grandmother. Seeing all the kiddos grow up, I feel rather old myself! Haha.

Nephew & Uncle.

Sulky pot.
Reason: Ate too much and mommy took his food away.

Emma!

Two partially complete generations.

And yay, I'm done with my Christmas shopping, haha. But it's a very tiny list this year due to financial constrains and the current economy crisis. I'm serious, it's that bad on me okay. So yeah, don't expect anything much from me or rather anything at all, heh. I'm keeping muh budget minimal this year so don't get offended anyhow :) But yeah, Christmas isn't all about presents, hee :)

Wondering how did The Fleur De Lis go? :) I think it went well. I mean yeah from a shopper's view, hee. I splurged my way throughout the three days and hehe, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchases! :D Absolutely loving my new found clothes, wahahah. But on the other hand, from an organizer's view, some vendors or rather, a vendor can really be downright stupid. Seriously, pfft! At least my clothes make me happy so it's all good, thankfully! Hee *grin*

We both look really chan and tired out huh.

Anyways, here's some belated shout-outs! -

Blessed Nineteenth Birthday, Johann!

Excuse me mister, we still haven't gone out yet!
What happened to all our catching up sessions huh?
Hehe. I tried calling you yesterday but I couldn't get
through at all. Really! It's not an excuse alright, hee.
Hope you had a blast on your special day :)
Don't get too naughty alright, do keep some sanity in
that now nineteen year old head of yours *grin*

::

Blessed TWENTY-SECOND Birthday, Brian!

Notice the emphasis on the age? Hehe. I kid I kid.
I'm still all fondue-fied from the lunch but hey it was
all good! I'm sure you had much fun, no? :) Thanks
for being that whacko friend throughout, hee.
Anyhow, here's to a great year ahead of you!
Big boy ady la, hahah. Happy Hatchday again!
Twenty-two! *cough* Heee!

scooter boy.

Blessed Twentieth Hatchday, Josh!

I hope you'd have a great birthday
over there in Atlanta!
Thanks for listening and
understanding all my nonsense.
You've indeed been an amazing blessing
and of course, a great friend!

Your big dreams tend to overwhelm me
but having known you for so many years,
I'm sure you're more than able
to achieve it sooner or later, hee.
I'm proud of who you are
and continue pursuing your dreams!
Go be a dream catcher :)
Have a blast and see you soon in December!
Happy Birthday, once again. :)

as expected.

Or so I think!

After Sandra leaving a sentence in my cbox about someone's death in GG, it got me rather curious. At dinner, I talked to my cousin about it and since we're both crazy (maybe I'm the only crazy one) OC fans, we came to a conclusion that it might just be ____'s death cause of certain reasons;

  • Josh Schwartz - Director of both the OC and GG. Hence, similarities. Heh heh heh!
  • With the flow of the storyline, it can only be ____ dying and no one else.
  • Who else better to die anyway? Lalala.

I'd list more down but nah, hehehe. Go figure!
Anyhow, as of today two people turn a year older! *grin*

Blessed Nineteeth Hatchday, Raychel Who!

The opaque one, no? Haha, I love you :D
We go wayyy back huh?
You've been awesome throughout!
All our lovely memories in AIM, hee!
Thanks for being so adorable, entertaining
and most importantly, for being you :)
Have a great nineteenth, love!
Don't reject my kisses okay!
:D

Happy Twentieth Birthday, Wei Xiong!

You whacko kid, haha.
Well that's not what WX is only made out of!
When he's serious, mann is he really serious.
You've been a great encourager
as well as a superb friend! :)
Anyways, you've grown so much
and I'm proud of you! Hehe.
Continue making coffee
and snapping pretty shots!
Here's to you turning a year older
and closer to becoming a vet! :)
Enjoy your day, Xiong!

the fifth surprise.

A Happy 19th Birthday Alexaaaa!
And please get well soon ;)

When pretty turns ugly-
As shown above.

If you did go out for dinner, hope you had fun ;)
And I definitely had fun with you today!
You've been an amazing girlfriend in college;
Always the one with the hype and fun
that just follows you around everywhere.
An awesome encourager and a great friend
to endure all things with :)
Hehe, and also a person to keep me in my right mind too!
Love you muchs girl.
Hope you had a blast!

Despite the heavy rain and the massive traffic jam in the evening, I still had heaps of fun throughout! But I'm pretty much broke right now, heh. It'll be cup noodles and staying at home from now onwards. Or so I hope ;) Hee.

Hee, coke stealer! ;)

The fifth surprise? Well apart from the pretty bouquet of roses, four heart-melting and too sweet to handle cards, I received another surprise from him! Hohoho, it's something that I've been wanting to get and heyheyhey, I got it now! Hah! Okay apart from the surprises, my dad got me the hairband I wanted from Aldo (I love Aldo!) and yeah, it's really beautiful and I love it. Love it love it love it. Anyway that's all the updates for now! I'm really trying to squeeze all that knowledge into my brains as they have obviously malfuntioned, pfft. Studying is uber tiring and it really drains me out.

Focus on the hairband please.
It's a bad bad picture of me =\

it's a blast.

Just four words; I had a blast!
And, thanks again to everyone for the wishes :)
Very very much appreciated!

Hehehe. I am now nineteen, my last year of teenage-hood. So old already, omg. Haha. And I can still remember my 10th birthday so clearly - Pinning the donkey's tail and whatnot. Time really does fly! The next thing I know, I'm hitting 21, hohoho. Anyhoo, that's not the issue right now, hee!

♥
I'm more than blessed!

From him :)
Pretty pretty.

I really had a blast today. Totally enjoyed myself, it was really good. Good stuff, alright. Hmm, hehe. Well I spent the whole day with Jan, except the morning 'cos I couldn't wake up, hee. Btw, can you spot something in the pic? Hehehe. *drum roll* Yay, Starbucks vouchers! :D Hahaha, omg it's SO good okay. Hehehe. I mean, seriously. Starbucks vouchers, coffee, oh such goodness, hohoho. Whee! And the roses are so pretty, right? Hee, and don't bother wondering what's in the envelopes 'cos I don't even know, heh. :) Surprise, surprise!

We had dinner in Tony Roma's and totally stuffed ourselves, haha. The Chocolate Avalanche there totally trashes Friday's desserts and Chilli's Molten Cake anytime. Hohoho, yummy-licious alright. Oh oh, I've got Legolas in my blood, haha. Tried archery for the very first time and hey, I'm not all that bad okay! Hehehe. Of course Jan pretty much trashed me but oh well, I'm not bad for a first timer, hehe. Ah not to forget, our impromptu game of bowling. Hehehe, super fun.

Legolas, anyone? Hehe.

He's so much better compared to me!

Just before his strike ;)

I could seriously go on and on but I'm really tired plus I've got an 8 o'clock class tomorrow morning. So, this is the best I could do to sum up everything that happened today. The most important thing you should know after reading this post is, I had a blast! Haha, yeah.

Well I'm gonna hit the sack right now :)
So, goodnight everyone!

Tuesday, November 4, 2008

greetings, comrade.

A little too familiar?

Hohoho, as of yesterday, I got a hold of Red Alert 3! It's joy, joy and joy! Hee. I'm telling you, it's uber fun alright! Wahaha, super canggih-fied. But as I've mentioned earlier, I have to play with low resolutions 'cos it'll really lag when I switch it to the ultra high resolutions. Boo! Anyone wants to sponsor me a new graphics card? Hehehe.

Anyhoo, November is a month full of birthdays so here's a post filled with some shout outs!
